Extremely Together Pakistan
Extremely Together Pakistan is the Pakistani chapter of Extremely Together, a global PVE movement launched by the former Secretary General of the United Nations, Kofi Annan.
Extremely Together Pakistan mentors a network of youth activists working together to prevent violent extremism, build peace and create a more inclusive society for all.
The Project gathered pro and aspiring activists including educationists, sports personalities, human rights workers, student leaders, political activists, religious minority leaders, peace builders, CVE experts, and theater artists to form city-level groups and later fashioned a national-level leadership committee of 12 young leaders, representing different religious, and ethnic groups of Pakistan along with a massive network of over 5000 young people in the country.
13 citywide campaigns were carried out in Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar, and Karachi. On successful completion of their campaigns, city chapter leaders implemented four joint activities in their respective cities.
