Disaster Relief Program
As a volunteer effort, HIVE engages its broad network in disaster relief and rehabilitation activities whenever there is an emergency situation in the country. This effort is on zero-overheads and a 100% volunteer basis.
During the floods of 2022- HIVE undertook a mammoth effort to provide emergency relief to flood victims across Pakistan. We provided material relief to over 150,488 individuals in all 4 provinces of Pakistan – especially hard-to-reach areas of Balochistan and Sindh.
When the 2022 floods washed away homes and lands, HIVE Pakistan traveled to 49 remote villages across Pakistan to provide relief. In a span of 60 days, 1200 volunteers helped us to distribute 1600 shelters, 24,950 ration bags, 73,800 mosquito kits, 4920 solar lights, 11,810 clothing and beddings, 12,000 ready-to-eat snacks, 200 boxes of infant relief, 800 water filters, 700 hygiene kits for women, and other thousands of essential items to sustain.
