Pitch Guidelines
Duration: Max 2 minutes
Language: Preferably Urdu or English, but regional/first languages are welcome!
Your pitch should include:
Introduction (10 seconds): Your name, background, and any relevant experiences or expertise that relate to the idea you are presenting. Please keep it short and crisp.
Problem (40 seconds): Clearly explain the issues or challenges that you see in your community. Describe why it is important and how it impacts the community or individuals involved.
Solution: How do you propose to address those issues, innovatively?
Brief overview of what the solution is? (do not mention activities) – 20 seconds
How is this solution sustainable and innovative? – 50 secs
In case, you have important points to make and 2 minutes are not enough. Send in a text (not exceeding 150 words) with the pitch.
Tips for a good pitch:
- In case of video, use a well-lit and quiet environment for recording your pitch to ensure that you are clearly visible and audible.
- Consider using a tripod or stable surface to keep the camera steady and avoid shaky footage.
- In case of audio, record in a quiet environment to minimize background noise or distractions.
- Use a good-quality microphone to capture clear audio.
- Test the audio levels before recording to ensure that your voice is clear and audible. Avoid speaking too softly or too loudly.
- Review before submission to ensure clear video and/or sound.
